Endless chatter?

Hi,
New forum member here.

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia waaaay back in 1995. Have been on a variety of medications since then, with varying degrees of success.

I also suffer from depression and anxiety. I take meds for that also.

So, now I'm sort of ok - to a point. I don't really suffer from hallucinations (thank god), and my paranoia and persecution complex have all but disappeared.

BUT my mind is still active. There's always some endless chatter at the back of my mind that keeps going on about past thoughts and experiences. Has anyone else suffered from this? I ignore for the most part and get on with my day, but it is still there!

Yes, it’s normal to have this “chatter”, these are basic inner thought of your subconscious. Living a calm life would diminish the importance you give to this chatter, which is just that.
