Effexor

Hey all,

Doc wants me to give effexor a try for the OCD thoughts. Haven't had good luck with meds, especially SSRIs. I have been med free for probably about 6 weeks. Not sure if I should wait it out, or start taking the Effexor. Anyone have good luck with this med??

Effexor is an SNRI not SSRI. I'm on it and it works well. Expect increased anxiety when you start taking but that will go away after 2-3 weeks

Yea, it's like day 4 for me and I am having increased symptoms etc....
