I got a bottle of cough syrup from the store and I noticed it didn't have an outer or inner safety seal. I took one serving and then started to worry that maybe I shouldn't have. I called the store and they said it definitely should have had one and that it might have been returned and mistakenly put back on the shelf. my mind is going crazy thinking of the worst case scenarios-poisoned, put blood in it, etc. Should I see a doctor or am I just being paranoid? I can't seem to put my worries to rest at the moment

Oh nut butter.

You have nothing to worry about. Cough syrup contains nothing harmful, its as harmful as a pack of KoolAid don't worry yourself :) Cough syrup is like night quill it don't do shit, its just a bunch of useless chemicals. I've lived in the states I know all about American products.

No you haven't been poisoned I can promise you that.

I went through that worry one time when there was no safety seal on a container of chicken broth. I thought what if someone put a drug in the container. I decided the mathematical odds of me getting drugged were against that happening. You can't run to a doctor because they'll just think you're silly.

You'd have to drive to a doctor unless the doctors office is within running distance :(
