My brother is getting treatment for schizophrenia in UK. And he became an insulin dependant. He is living alone and he
to visit Toronto to see his sibling. i am planing to bring him here for one or 2 months stay.
Does NHS covers the cost of the insulin and the other medications during his stay in Canada?
I am in Toronto and i need to pick him up from Uk, and i might pick up the blister packs of medications and the by weekly injections. And his care coordinator may arrange. How am i going to bring 2 months supply of insulin, and i dont know weather they will give it to him to carry.
If NHS cover all the medication outside the country for his citizens it will be a big relief.

theres also medical insurance when i was thinking of going to paris i looked into it, the national schitzoprenic fellowship mentioned 2 insurance companys when i phoned 1 was for families taking a schitzo with them, they agreed to insure me not covering a pre existing condition the other said they didn't insure schitzoprenics

there was a european card giving you acess to facilities in europe, don't know about canada or whether it's now free with brexit

I'm going to Lake Como, Italy for 9 days in October. I used a comparison travel insurance site and had no problems obtaining travel insurance with a mainstream insurer. I paid £58 with Debenhams and that's insured for my schizoaffective disorder. I answered all question probably.
