I think I have a bike fetish.

Every so often through the months I turn to cycling and then my motivation drains again.
but I always come back to cycling and bikes.
Aparantly I'm overweight.
I have a fixie but it's a death trap.
Been looking at folding bikes and city bikes to help loose some weight.

I live in Leeds and cycling is massive since the tour de france kicked off here.
on easter sunday the roads were packed with road bikes, one after the other, some in groups.
Since I'm on benefits I've saved some up but are torn between an exercise bike and a regular bike on a turbo trainer for the bedroom.

yes a 21 gear mountain bike which i never use in part due to laziness and the fact that it is so darn dangerous cycling these days with the amount of traffic on the road. which that in itself makes it unpleasant. my preferred mode is walking

I love and enjoy cycling too! I do cycling for 30 minutes. It's one of my favorite cardio.

I have a Trek hybrid bike, 18 gear Shimano set. I use it to get around the town where I live and often take it on long rides into the dunes and out into the countryside. Love to cycle, and there are lots of bike paths around here... Bicycling is kind of a national pastime.

I used to have a few that I'd meet up with :D lol but seriously I have 2 bikes rotting away on my balcony I haven't checked them in over 2 years so they may have rust on them. One is a racer bike that I made up from lots of random bike parts years ago and I have my mountain bike which is a custom one that I did back in 2008

I have half a bike sitting in my room. It was my old mountain bike, which I have been restoring, and transforming it into a touring/ town bike. I still need to finish it. I am not in a hurry because cycling around here is horrid because of so many poor drivers. But I will finish it, I have expensive tyres I have already bought, and I always wanted to do a bike tour somewhere in britain.

I used to do a lot of cycling and go crazy distances on my mountain bike that I had customized for road use and for speed but with extra thick tires and a large crank shaft and custom made block on the back wheel for the back gears. The frame is a stunt bike frame with suspension, I know its a bit of a strange arrangement but it worked for me and I enjoyed many good rides from it ;) The bike is a monster with great performance. Some ideas had crossed my mind on installing a homemade motor kit :D capable of going 60 mph for those hills but the project got put to the back burner as I just didn't have the motivation to go ahead with it. Some say thats cheating tho lol I must get back into my cycling some time, I don't feel safe on London roads which has also held me back from getting out my bike.
