I have hell with my OCD and I find it difficult every day of the day to get through and being a positive person. My mum has Chronic fatigue and I had a rough week last month with my new job, I couldn't do my morning shifts due to lack of energy and my ocd, it was making me unhappy working too much. My mum doesn't understand what I go through she can be nasty if she doesn't get her own way or she calls me lazy etc because she simply doesn't understand my condition.

Like for instance today I was feeling quite good until I told her and her friend about my promo work saying they wont pay me for the days I was late for. My mum just went mad and ranted for 30 minutes and argued and said she can't cope etc etc... but I wasn't asking for her advice. I have never really been that close towards my mum, only in a friendship way but not the way where I would hug her or kiss her on the cheek, I am not close close in that respect. I also feel she holds me back or she just brings the negative energy into my life. So today I am in tears because she's upset me with her attitude!

Do any of you, struggle to have a positive day? My mum is hard as shit, like a strict school teacher bossy kind of way. She has lost clients with the way she has spoken to some people, I have told her its because of the way you treat people and how you speak to them, she can't see why they are wrong and why she is right! One of those difficult people to get along with!

I am going to stay strong and put it behind me.

Rant over

Is her going off part of her own health issues? Either way none of this is on you and I'm sorry you are going through this.
I dont typically discuss the heavier issues with my dad because he's old retired and just lost mom a few years ago. My brother is a lot like me but we dont show a lot of weakness or emotion beyond humor...
