I have been keeping a journal since I started my treatment, and I went through my entries the other day, as I want to show the psychiatrist when I go for my follow-up appointment on Friday. Using the content of the entries I made a graph showing my ups and downs over the month, and what caused them. It really helped me to gain perspective on how I've really been feeling, as the passage of the days can sometimes blend into one another, and you forget how you truly felt. It also helped to identify certain triggers and conditions that led to my slumps. Has anyone else tried this or do it on a regular basis?
