Just wondering... Do you think you'll get better or do you think it'll be an ongoing struggle with your mental health?

What would getting better mean for you?

What do you think would help you get better?

I was last well when I was a child

my life will be meaningful and filled with joyous connections

I'm pretty much as well as I ever will be, I still suffer paranoid thoughts and anxiety but it doesn't really bother me anymore.

Perhaps this is the best way forward for people with long term conditions: to accept yourself for the way you are.

I hope I will get better, even just for a short time. There have been times when I've achieved things in my life and at the moment I am just about surviving and not much else.

I am starting psychology soon so I will be working on getting better but it's hard to be hopeful.

I'm not ready to throw the towel in yet and accept defeat, I just hope they make some medical breakthroughs soon.

TBH this year has been good albeit tarnished in tragedy. Good in terms of self-growth and recovery.

But, yet I am still experiencing psychosis. I guess as you grow you become more adept at coping with it. That is enough for now.

I do hope I get better. I'm already much better compared to some periods in my life. However, there's still a long way to go towards the place where I accept myself as I am.

I don't need much besides being comfortable with myself. That's what I'm working towards now and hopefully, I won't give up on my way.

Therapy helps a lot. I'm also journaling and trying to read and watch things that can be beneficial. I'd like to try mindfulness too. It seems to help many people.

Thanks for the thread, Worriedyin. I needed to write it down to help myself believe I can get better indeed.
