Do you remember everything that happened during your manic episodes?

As the question in the headline: after you come back to your baseline, do you clearly remember everything that happened during your manic episodes? Or is it more like a fog with some details there and others being blurry?

I should correct the question to: "accurately remember". Basically if what you remember is missing a lot of details compared to someone who observed it...

I did not remember a lot of stuff that happened during my mania. I discussed my last episode with my therapist and was able to recall some of the things I did and said about six months later. Naturally I was embarrassed and have a lot of shame surrounding them. I’m glad you asked this question as I have wondered about other people’s experience of mania like this too. xo, j
