I’m way too emotional to listen to music most of the time, especially if it’s just on and I’m not picking the songs.

I can't listen to music when depressed. I already feel like my head could explode so music is too much.

If the music's in my car I can start yelling at the radio so I just turn it off. If its made me that angry and wound up when I'm home I certainly just turn it off do something else. There is one song that was quite popular when I was younger and my brother would play it over and over to actually taunt me, well make me feel really upset even now I can't listen to that song. If a friend was playing it I would just say I can't listen to this

Like grocery store, dentist office, restaurant. I’ve recently become sensitive to music in those places bc they’re always the “top hits” and a bunch are sappy and make me teary lol.

The only time I get really mad is with piped Christmas music in shopping malls. The sound of Noddy Holder's voice feels like nails on a blackboard

So far, the only time I have gotten angry while listening to music is when something in the lyrics triggers my CPTSD. When I'm having a really bad week, I sometimes have to switch to listening to instrumental music only.

I have noises in my head all day long - they "sing" to me - just odd lines, even a few words - its driving me crazy - I never get a break from it. If I hear a song, and song, I get lines/words from that repeated over and over until another song takes its place. The current most reoccurring song is "auld lang syne" - I now hate it!!

I just want peace and quiet.
