Do you ever feel like if you ever start crying you won't be able to stop?

Sometimes I feel like crying just makes things worse.

Most often I feel better afterward

and trust me im expert :(

I don't believe in holding it in - when I was really depressed just about anything made me cry

I wonder if BPDs are easier criers - we've had to cope for so long

I know I cried a lot as a kid - cry baby - but nowdays I also know, I had a lot to cry about

I guess I just wish I didn't have to cry alone. I wish there was someone to hold me when I feel like the sobs are going to physically break me apart.

I very rarely cry (I don't think that's a good thing) if I do cry it's a real release to me...and it helps.

I don't like people seeing me cry though...
:(

Sending hugs to you :hug1:

Your posts are like seeing my own thoughts written down. I put off crying for so long as I just wasn't 'ready' for full on sobs, so if anything would only let a few tears spill, because the alternative just hurt too much. I'm glad I'm getting better at letting it all out now though.

Hugs xx

When I cry I really cry which lasts a few hours, usually it's just drop of tears.

It happened four times last year.

Two to do with my Dog who died (one episode lasted for two days)

and the other two were related to this forum.

Those four are horrible and I don't feel better at all but the others do help me.

I'm sorry your dog died. I understand how you feel. My little bird died around Christmastime last year.

I found my baby with a broken neck the day after my 50 birthday in August

The Cheater had taken me away for the night

God knows what happened but my baby died

*looks suspiciously at Hernextdoor

I still haven't got over it

It couldn't have hurt worse if it was one of my children

Reason being - and I've put thought into it - furbabies are All Love. There is no other side, no hidden thoughts, no bitching or resentment.

They are Pure Love and losing it is the worst experience (IMO) some of us can have

Devastating

Just crying now thinking about our lost loves...did they ever know just how treasured they were...I like to think so...sometimes I feel her still with me

God I wish I hadn't read this thread

:cry2:
