I react to a soap storyline like I would a real life situation. If a character I like passes away I cry, if something controversial or shocking happens I gasp. I get angry at characters when they are untruthful or bad and I laugh at the things I find funny.

If I'm in a particularly emotional mood I avoid programmes and documentaries that will cause me to get angry, upset or make me feel sick. When there was an Eastenders storyline of Phil Michels wife who was bullying his son I was really upset and almost hurt to watch so I stopped watching it until I read in the tv guide that the storyline was coming to a close. People are forever telling me "oh it isn't real" and "don't be soft" but sometimes fiction can have effects.

Glad im not the only one. Im getting really emotional over nothing basically. Im always crying if someone dies on Hollyoaks. Films like UP. i know its stupid but just the opening. when the wife dies. makes me sad. Films ... my weak point. and then i get really Depressed about it. and think about them when i go to bed. i dont sleep well so i think about lots of things.

im deffo a silly monkey.

You're only human. When I watched PS I love you I was very emotional as I was pregnant and hormones were through the roof. I cried constantly throughout the film.
