I've been on DLA for about 9 years (bipolar/depression/anxiety).

I've had the dreaded letter, did the call, filled in the form and posted it (with some letters from psych doc).

Am getting very worried about what happens next. Scared about a face to face; worried they won't beleive me. How I'll cope financially if money is withdrawn.

Just can't stop thinking about it.

im scared too
I have been on PIP for 2 years ,previously on DLA and my renewal ,mid term one is due in september
although I only got awarded standard rate for mobility and care it was still a lot more money than I was getting on DLA
I don't know how I will cope financially if my PIP stops either
im not going to lie ,the face to face can be stressful but im sure you have nothing to worry about and worst case scenario there is always appealing and tribunal xxx

DWP told me on monday 7th Oct that I had appointment that Friday (11th Oct)(tomorrow). I suppose the short notice has limited the amount of panic - but am really terrified of tomorrow now.
What are they likely to ask me?

Can my husband (who is my carer and will be with me) answer some/most of the questions for me - I get confused so easily?

I hear voices too - I find it hard to concentrate and differentiate between the voice of a stranger and a the idiot in my head.

Freaking out here

My appointment was for 2pm today (they had already moved once already), then today, whilst in the car they phoned. They had to cancel it today and its now rearranged for next week. Just as well my husband was with me I was virtually screeching down the woman on the phone. 2 hours f***ing notice. She said the assessor had phoned in first thing to say she was sick. They had known for over 2 hours before contacting me!

Disgusted but not surprised.

I could write a book on my experiences of DWP appointments and probably have done the equivalent of that in complaints about them. Unfit to administer anything remotely to do with vulnerable people's health.

Anyway mini-rant over and I hope you can get sorted positively ASAP
