Distraction techniques please!!

Hi all, anyone who’s seen me posting will know I’m fairly new to GAD and panic attacks.

Would anyone recommend any good books to read or other informative things to look at to familiarise myself more with it and learn of various coping techniques pls??

Also if anyone has any personal techniques they would like to share to overcome anxiety on a daily basis that would be greatly appreciated !! Hugs, laura x

Mindfulness daily helps me cope with GAD and not thinking about tomorrow. Also talking to a therapist is very therapeutic for me

Yes, I found that having a better understanding of what was going on really helped me. If nothing else, it makes you realise that a) you're not going loopy b) everything you're feeling is 'normal' (in the realms of anxiety), and c) it can be managed
