Has anyone else had similar bad experiences from the Disability Law Service (DLS)? I am a carer for someone with Autism (Sam), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Depression. A senior solicitor at the DLS was truly abhorrent in his behaviour towards us and this has resulted in the person I care for to start self-harming for which he has had some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Sam was already on the edge but the nasty reply of this particular solicitor (and by extension, the DLS) has really exacerbated his condition.
I won't give the name of this particular senior solicitor, but it was shocking the attitude he showed towards a vulnerable person.
Best wishes to all, and thanks for reading.

hi Duke :welcome:

things like that can happen unfortunately
and I'm sorry for the effect its having

you might go to the Citizens Advice Bureau
to discuss what has happened and either find alternative help ,
from another organisation , or go down the route of a complaint

don't let one vile person put you off seeking help or going higher

I hope you find this forum helpful as well
