What is the difference between schizophrenic tendency with depression and schizo-affective?

With regards to ICD and clinical diagnoses I think a lot of it is actually psychiatric acumen that has been learned on the field. There's probably a big difference between the two as Schizoaffective is not even a subtype of Schizophrenia.

Schizoaffective Disorder is a condition between Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia. It has mood disorder, either bipolar type with depression and mania, or depressive type with depression, and it also has symptoms of Schizophrenia, usually psychotic symptoms like hallucinations and delusions, sometimes problems with thinking, or negative symptoms like lack of motivation, energy, pleasure in life, flat emotions.

I haven't heard of schizophrenic tendency, but assume it would mean some of the symptoms but maybe not a definite diagnosis. Perhaps they are not sure yet.

Hope you are ok x
