Im not sure where else to turn. I know something else is wrong or that I may have been misdiagnosed or there maybe be something else going on as well. ive experienced full blown conversations with people close to me that never happened (these are real people in my life that I questioned about these conversations and they actually didn't happen). Then there was a full blown vivid conversation with people ive never met. it doesn't happen often but im just wondering where It might be coming from

It’s from your inner self . Even if it sounds like it’s coming from outside your body. Usually when you could be experiencing some for of psychosis. You say you were diagnosed bipolar at a young age. Can i ask how young and were you medicated for it. I dont agree with medicating young children unless it is essential as their brains are still developing. If your still receiving help i would talk to your MH practitioner

I have a kind of similar experience in that I can visualise a conversation with a complete stranger in a place I’ve never been before. These a very vivid dreams. I wake up and say what was that about , then maybe 1 or 2 or 5 or 10 years later these situations happen in real life in the exact place I dreamt about with the exact person. The memory of the conversations are so clear that I know exactly what the person will say before they say it. I have tried to change the conversation by changing my reply that I had in my dream but strangely I can’. I am also bipolar 2 maybe it’s a secret power we have but I’ll admit yours is more annoying in that it’s with friends and family and it seem to happen in a shorter time frame. Don’t worry in time you will learn which conversation is real or not and you will actually find them funny.

It sounds like psychosis to me.
I was diagnosed with bipolar at a young age to and I struggle with psychosis. I understand it completely how it feels so real to you then it must be scary when someone else tells you it never happened.
I am prescribed antipsychotics, I am on quetiapine, and it helped with these voices. they don't disappear completely but it was definitely easier to deal with.

I was diagnosed at 13 and was put on many medications some at the same time some at different times. i moved to california 8 years ago and as backwards as it sounds if you dont have medicaid then mental health resources are extremely limited. These "conversations" i have are never pleasant its always me royally screwing up and the parts that are blurry ill stew over them and fill in the blanks with even worse things i then convince myself i actually did.
