A little bit of information beforehand;
I do already dissociate and I know what being numb feels like.

I'm trying at this point to understand if I'm dissociating right now or if I'm emotionally numb or detached and mayhaps ways to go about dealing with/fixing it.

thats a milli0n dollar question i reckon. i think this year i will have to have my project as l00king at dissociating as i have always assumed it is is deep/severe depression.

i do know that is more than likely as to why i find being around people very difficult at times. but thankfully most peeps do the talking and dont even notice i havent said nothing lol

i catch myself having what i call an inner dialogue cogs within cogs and i immediately call a halt to it. as these negative and at times quite strange dialogue is getting in the way of being with folk. i have always ignored it as white background noise but no longer. so thats going to be a journey. there aint no quick fixes in this world i reckon

You should find it helpful and supportive here.
Maybe start writing a journal to help with the emotional numbness, find connections between events and feelings.
