Does anyone else find depression makes them more ugly? I know a negative outlook will see the negatives, but I mean I do nothing different with my face/hair yet my hair gets knotty and stringy, looks crap, my face just looks worse - dry skin or whatever. Maybe I'm just not taking the time to do it properly and don't realise. Or maybe I always look this crap, but if I'm not depressed I don't notice?

Hey, I don't believe depression makes you ugly but if you are depressed you tend not to bother with your appearance or maybe you will not wash your face everyday, strong medication can also make your skin dry and some people say that prolonged drug usage (prescribed medication) will also age you considerably and you may look years older than you really are but it doesn't mean you will look ugly.
Your personality may become ugly when you are depressed as you appear not to care or you may be rude to other people without noticing it.

My husband can tell my mood just by looking at my face - he says when I'm depressed, it shows in my skin.
