Hi, I am new to this forum but have been on other similar forums and they are very helpful.

I have bad anxiety and depression. Got my meds put up to 100mg setrialine. I struggle at night with anxiety. It's like I have loads of energy in me and I am about to explode. So I lay in bed at night thinking I would be better to end it all to save me from this feeling.

I am sorry you feel this way.

Do you think the sertraline is exasperating the problem at night?? I found I was quite manic on them and they didn't help much with the anxiety.

Welcome btw xx

At night I tend to have loads of thoughts racing through my head. Can't sleep and extremely fidgety.

Put that fidgety energy to good use and do something. Get up, do housework, solve some puzzles, knit a jumper idk anything but ruminating between the sheets.

Hi Ljt84 - when do you take the Sertraline? Might be worth changing the time of day in case it is interfering with your sleep patterns. Take advice from your prescribing Dr though before you make any changes.

Hi, I tend not to stick to s set time when I take my meds. Maybe that is the problem. But recently I have been very tired and I have not been doing very much to tire me out. Think it might be the meds. Fingers crossed I can get it under control soon.
