I know Dawlish well, I have some family there. Is the railway line reopened yet? I remember hearing that just as they had a ceremony near the station to celebrate the line to Exeter being reopened there was an almighty crash from the other way towards Teignmouth and a big chunk of cliff had fallen off, blocking the line there.

That minor incident only closed the line as a precaution for a couple of hours. The line is fully open and has been for a long time.

:welcome: to forum pixie1974.

I went on a family holiday many years ago in Dawlish and remember the lovely sandy beach and all the sand dunes there.

We friended a german family and I was incredibly competitive with them in beach cricket - thought in my head I was representing our nation then.

My excuse was only a very young boy.:)

I hope being on here - proves to be a good experience for yourself and it can help you in your day to day life too.

Best wishes

Peaceful.:hug1:
