All my friends moved on to wherever, no love life, nobody I can speak to.

I feel ugly or should I say I know I'm ugly. I have zero chance of having a girl be interested in me because I'm ugly and awkward.

Life pretty much sucks.

Is it life in general getting you down as well or just the specific issue of not having a romantic partnership?

I think people put too much importance on relationships and fail to pursue the other things that could bring them happiness and fulfilment. I'm not saying that that's what you're doing by the way, suppose i'm reflecting on how i've been in the past.

How are other areas of your life? I'm thinking along the lines of hobbies, interests, any courses or classes you could be doing etc.

Hey Richter. I don't actually believe in ugly. It's just not a universally applicable term. Someone's trash is another's treasure and all that jazz. I don't care what you look like or what you think you look like, there are people out there ready to dig you. You won't believe it till it happens.

A love life isn't the be all and end all anyway. Focus on other aspects of your life. These other things are easier to control and fix if need be. Meeting someone and falling in love is organic, you can't force it. Be open to it but don't make it your life's focus. Do things you enjoy and live your life. Shine on.

The rest of my life is fine if you're talking activity I guess, it's just this I feel that is missing, bonds with other people.

I'm not grotesque but I'm playing with a weak hand here. It feels like the be all and end all to me, because it's missing from my life, companionship. I'm not good alone in my own company.

Hi Richter nice to meet you. If you don't mind me asking, what do you get up too? Sports, hobbies etc.

Hey dude,

I feel like you too mate, but every now and again you'll find that glimmer of hope... One day one of those glimmers will become an opportunity, and someone like you will grab it by both hands. People like us appreciate the things in life that many others take for granted, and ultimately we're better off in the long run :)

You have a lot going for you already, how do you socialise? Do you belong to any groups?
Try and get yourself out there into mixed groups, you will find friends male and female. They will get to know you, beauty is far deeper than what is on the outside. I am trying to do this myself.
The meet up app is useful for finding groups where everyone has something in common.
All the best.

I've been trying. Have a few people I'm friendly with, it's hard to find friendly girls here though.

There's something out there for everybody, don't lose hope :) I'd suggest making the most of university with its clubs, social scene, parties and so on, because meeting people only gets harder from there.

I'm sorry your life seems to suck. I feel ugly, too, but I have to realize that beauty comes from inside. Someone will see your inner beauty. There is someone for everyone.
