I have used dating sites and personally my advice is steer clear. I got a lot of creeps contacting me on the dating sites and nobody decent.

I use Bumble and Her, however have the same issues as you are. I've searched for an app like what you are mentioning and didn't find one. So, yes - I'd try it🤗

I would be interested. Find it hard to get to know people in real life. It’s easier to talk and be around likeminded people.

I would be very wary of using a website for MH dating. I think it could be easily abused by people pretending they have MH issues and trying to get with vulnerable people.

Perhaps.. but how to find love when you don’t know any people in your community that you can relate to?

Both points are valid. I met my late partner online and he was totally genuine but it was on a paid site. But I’ve also met a lot of losers and over exaggerators . I think they can be helpful, especially if like me when your at the older end and don’t do pubs and clubs. I did try one of the free ones and that was just full of creepy people

it would be nice if you could find someone with like minded problems some people hear mental health problems then want nothing to do with you so a site dedicated to people finding each other i see no issue but problems could arise

There's already nolongerlonely.com. I would feel the same way thinking there's something wrong with me every time I login.

I think that dating sites can really help you to forget your illness, you juts need to find the one where you can chat with someone and maybe date some day!

You need to first learn to love yourself.

I used to use nolongerlonely but I had a bad experience. I may use nolongerlonely again in the distant future. I want a break from dating right now.
