Cry of the Millennial Witch

Cry of the Millennial Witch — Ora North

"I feel a divide growing within the spiritual movement.

It has been growing slowly, almost imperceptibly. Like a frog swimming in a pot of gradually boiling water that hasn't realized the danger he's in.

Here it is, dare I say it: The realm of the mainstream spiritual has become shallow and dogmatic.

In an effort to reach divinity, enlightenment, and guru-status, we’ve banished and demonized the “negative” and the struggle of the human experience. We’ve lost touch with the glorious bittersweet medicine that our pain and suffering offers when truly acknowledged by the Self and the tribe, and subsequently integrated with compassion and love."

Witchcraft is horrific.

I am not talking about nature worship or new age spiritualism.

I am talking about witchcraft.

Hexes. Curses. Rituals. Sacrifice. Subordination. Abuse. Power.

I am a witch and priestess. its not about evil and never has been in all its long history. The cleverest thing the Christians did was to convince everyone about this to promote their own religion and to persecute wise women and wise men. Please understand this and don't denigrate my religion so strongly. (To Aboriculture)

I have been to witchcraft and magic museums that are run by witches.

Like I said, I am not talking about worshipping nature.

And yes, I know people use the word 'witch' in different ways.

I am talking about what I have seen in the witchcraft museum. I am talking about the rituals that the witches (not Wiccans or Druids or pagans) do.

Wiccans are witches and Ihave been in the Craft for 32 years and never met anything other than us around. They don't exist, whoever you are talking about. Not trying to be antagonsitic, just saying my insight.

Did you ever read the Pendle Witches' confessions?

Have you ever been to the museum of witchcraft and magic?

Pendle witches weren't witches. They were despeartely poor women who found a way to make money and get food. I live near there and trust me, there is nothing in that at all. Yes I have been to the museum of witchcraft and its very interesting and shows different aspects through the ages. Morality was looser in the past, but remember what the Christian morality was like back then too - burning people etc

Some Wiccans call themselves witches.

I am differentiating between Wicca and witchcraft and magic.

I said I was not talking about Wicca.

And even with Wicca, people mean different things when they say 'Wicca'. I think of Wicca as Gardnarian Wicca. But other people who call themselves Wiccans have never even heard of this, even though it is the origin of Wicca. Wicca is a very new 'religion'.

Witchcraft is ancient.

So there is certainly a difference.

What do you mean 'back then'?????? The man (he was a witch) who created the museum of witchcraft and magic was still cursing people right up until he passed away, recently.

Regardless of whether you believe the men and women who were accused of witchcraft in Pendle were really witches, they did voluntarily confess. That is why it is the most famous case.

I believe the Pendle witches were witches. They were certainly not Wiccans though as that did not exist back then.

Witchcraft offends me!

But so do a lot of other things, such as people killing others in the name of G-d.

People who worship the Dev*l.

There are so many names that humans use, such as Father, Adonai, YHWH
