Could this be PTSD?

Hiya, I'm new here, and kind of went looking for help online bc I'm not sure where else to go.
For context, I got hit by a van about a month ago. It wasn't anything dramatic, I got right back up and went on my way and did an exam about 30 minutes later.
For a while all I really noticed was being more scared around streets and cars. I used to not be excessively careful when crossing, and after I physically couldn't start crossing until I saw the light turn green. I was more sensitive to sound than usual, more jumpy, and then I started having really awful intrusive thoughts and recurrently seeing 'frames' of when I was hit.
I then realized I couldn't really remember when it happened, only frames/fragments of it. And then I started having what I'm hesitant to call flashbacks.
Emotionally it feels like a panic attack except it's quite specific emotions that feel familiar to the accident. Also I feel like I can almost see the van coming towards me or the street I'm walking on, wherever I am during a 'flashback'. I feel like I'm lying on my back on the street unless I stomp my feet really hard to ground me, and I can feel pain where my leg hurt for a bit, and I feel like I'm reaching for something during a 'flashback' the same way I reached for my lanyard that had fallen off, even if my arm isn't actually moving.
Anyway, this is quite long, but any help would be most appreciated.

I'm sorry you were hit by a van. I would definitely seek out professional help with it so that you can deal with it before your symptoms become worse.

IDK whether it's PTSD or not, only a professional can decide that. What matters is getting help with it regardless if it is or not. And right now with it being so recent would be the ideal time to seek help.

Hugs

:welcome: I agree with SunnyDaze, you need somebody licenced to find out what is the right diagnosis. Flashbacks are not good to live with. You can search on the Internet for Online Therapy. It is no shame to enter into therapy, the sooner the better.

Good Luck! :)
