I'm currently a mature student and wondered if anyone had any ideas for strategies to cope with voices while in lectures? None of my usual ones (iPod, physical activity, talking back) can really be done and I wondered if anyone else had found anything that worked.

You could try thinking back? Not quite the same, but might work. Or if they get really distracting try forcing yourself to do something you really need to concentrate on, just to get you back into the lecture. Maybe could count all the letter a's, then b's, then c's... on the slide show? Then try making little sums with the answers, like a's + b's = ?. Just till you feel like you can get yourself properly involved again. Thats what I do in lectures when I think im gonna fall asleep!!
