Confusion about Time... What on earth is this?

Hi Everyone,

I haven't got a clue where to post this, because it hasn't ever happened to me until very recently. I have no idea what to call it or why it is happening.

I'm fine in almost every way. But the other day, my husband was talking about someone getting a bee sting. I was confused and asked, "A bee sting? In the winter?" He looked at me weird and reminded me that it is summer right now. It took me a second to believe him, and in that instant I felt panicked. Then I realized he was right, and was just embarrassed. A few weeks before I thought it was December. I had a moment of confusion where I realized it might not be December, but had no clue what month it was or how to figure it out.

Other than this, I'm fine. I've been treated for depression in the past, but haven't had issues for a year or two. I don't feel depressed or like I'm under extra stress or anything. I remember day-to-day tasks just fine. But I keep losing track of what time of year it is.

Has anyone else heard of this or experienced this? I'm 26 years old.

Keep Posting -- And start a journal to record your days

Observe these anomalies but first and foremost deal with de blues you have ....

This forum is great - honest.

From what I understand from depression is that symptomatically over the years - People can experience other problems such as this -- But don't be alarmed. Just try and read -- read

Just to say CPU is pretty good with info perhaps you could PM him? He's kinda good with blues and highs etc etc...

But all in all read, write and inform yourself. Sounds patronizing but its all a part of the process that helps you manage your condition better and - know yourself too.

my best wishes

Hi there,

Don't worry. You didn't come across as patronizing at all. I appreciate any guidance! That's why I'm here! :) I've been trying to read, but haven't seen much about getting confused about time. It feels almost like getting lost; you know that panicked feeling you get if you suddenly realize you don't know where you are? It's like that, but instead of forgetting where I am, I forget when I am. (Which sounds ridiculous, I know.) I've tried google, but apparently I don't know how to search for this. I've come up with nothing. Can this really be a side effect of depression? Even if I'm not actively depressed? (I realize, of course, that no one on here can give a diagnosis or anything...) What keywords would you use for a search? Also, who is CPU? Is there a way to do a member search? Still learning about this site. Thanks!
