hi all I thought I would join here while im in this mood to seek some kind of answers

I've been told I have depression and anxiety for years and spent most of them without medication as I didn't think there was anything wrong with me my moods weren't always depressive moods it would change without warning to a completely new me on top of the world not sleeping and doing thing out of character to devastating things then like waking up with a hangover the depression kicked in and so did the realisation of what I had done I'm so confused as what's going on

First of all welcome to the forum! I hope you have a good time here and that we're able to help you in whatever way we can! :grouphug:

Do you go to a therapist of some kind? They should be able to help you get a better understanding of whats going on and why you feel the way you do. Also, if you have yet to be diagnosed by a doctor, I would recommend talking to one, as not only can that help you get some clarity on whats happening, but also allow you to get some medication which can help.

Welcome to the forum. There are so many wonderful people on here who can help you. JustAnotherHuman's post is pretty much the same as I'm thinking. I highly recommend seeing a doctor. They will listen to you and be able to give you advice on what it could be. Hopefully this will help you have some clarity on what could be happening. Wish you all the best :)

Welcome to the forum wenty. Hope you are feeling better today. I use to have horrible mood changes. One minute I was crying and sad the next minute I am out spending money I do not have. I started taking medications and all that stopped. I hate taking meds but my moods were so bad and I snapped at my children frequently. Now I am mellow it has been about 9 years on meds. Lots of hugs and get better Jules
