I spent a good portion of the day getting my apartment all clean and tidy (except for my bedroom, which looks like a tornado hit it), and it feels so good. I can relax in my living room and see my nice, clean, tidy kitchen. Of course, the motivation was that the building managers will be installing fire alarms in all the suites starting on Tuesday, and I didn't want them to see the disastrous state my apartment was in. I'd probably risk getting evicted. But anyway, living room, kitchen/dining room, and bathroom all sparkling clean! Yay!

Awesome work!!!!
that is a lot to get done!
Do you have a washer/dryer in your apt?
I would put the clothes in big bags, stick them in the closet and then tackle them one at a time.
And then make up the bed with fresh bedding so it feels like a sanctuary, maybe especially helpful since you have such struggles with insomnia.

I picked up but did not do a thorough cleaning as you did. Bet it does feel terrific.

I am really trying to work on this house-keeping business.

Sounds like you have just about beat the monster. ENJOY!
