So after having a complete breakdown last night I think it's time to change my mirtazapine 30mg. I was originally on citalopram for 2+years and was doing great and then it just pooped out. Went up to 30mg and the same thing happened after a few months. So the doc decided to introduce mirtazapine and drop me back to 20mg citalopram. I'm on week 6 nearly of 30mg of mirtazapine and my depression is so much worse and my anxiety is sky high to the point where I had a complete break down last night and couldn't cope anymore. So..... I I'm seeing my doc in a few days and was wandering should I come off mirtazapine and try upping my citalopram to 40mg.because they have worked before (still taking them) or shall I just try something different all together. All I know at the moment is my mirtazapine are making me feel the worst I've ever felt in my life. I know it can take 6-8 weeks to feel better but I haven't had any improvement I've just been getting worse each day. Thanks x
