Can't seem to do it

I read from multiple sources that self-harm is badly addictive, and that once it starts it's difficult to stop.

That isn't the case with me for some reason. I can barely work up the nerve to do it, and the pain quickly dissuades me from continuing. Even though I have uncontrollable mental urges to do so, the physical action just leaves me squeamish and unsatisfied. Where does this problem come from? Have you guys ever experienced it?

It's good to stay away from self harm. It is painful and addictive. Is a horrible mess. I'm in a horrible mess with it.
Try and find something active to do with your feelings that isn't destructive if you can?
