Hi all,

Just wondered how many of you are/have used cannabis? I know this can be a cause/trigger of BP.

Also - can anyone give me examples of the "highs" they get? I have only had a few experiences and just wondered what others were?

Thanks

N

I use it most of the time
It motivates me into occupational therapy and turns a ' chore ' into a pleasure

I don't believe it, Are you really saying you need to get stoned to get motivated? You must be smoking banana skins or PCP.

I've always found that people who don't use cannabis whilst on Major tranquilisers are ' Miserable '.

It cheers me up and I cannot help but believe in it.

Better to be psychotic than sad? Personally I prefer reality.

My prescribed medication is 7.5 mg of olanzepine
Because I smoke dope my psych gives me 10 mg -because cannabis counteracts it - i've found this is the best combination for me
I've tried 7.5 mg, but life is just dull and flat

You don't have to justify your drug use to me - I used very large amounts of drugs for 17 odd years - I no longer do - I stopped the justifying & rationalisations of personal drug use, came out of denial & got clean; I was kidding myself before then.

If people want to alter their brains with drugs - then they should be completely free to do so. All drugs should be legal. Personally - I don't see the appeal of habitual drug use.

Yep, it doesn't seem right to me that I have to smoke to feel happy

But it also doesn't seem right that we are forced to take depressive medication

I feel like a soldier at War with my own mind - I'll do anything I have to

Yes your right - neither are right - med free recovery is possible & sobriety is possible.

I feel like a soldier at War with my own mind - I'll do anything I have to

So will I - that's why I stopped drugs.
