Thanks for the link, qf. I had just brought this up in a thread about an hour ago. Sometimes you have to say no. You cant always say yes if theres other things you have to do

I can't say no and for sure it makes my mh worse!
My cat had a fit the other night I raced.to the vets when I got there someone had abandoned two cats in a box, the receptionist was asking if anyone could help and take them home until the morning (when we could ring the cats protection place).

Guess who said YES?? Yep-me. Lumbered with two more cats cos I couldnt say no, and thats the story of my life and how I end up in such a mess!

I can't say no either I get myself in so many situations I don't want to be in but can't get out of just cos I can't say a 2 letter word !

Pretty crap to be honest :-( x x

You need a balance and boundaries are always needed.

If you remain saying yes all the time, you will get taken advantage off. You need to be firm.
