Last four days been having a lot of heart pain.

Physical not emotional.

Might be more withdrawal effects or I dunno.

Not searching Google as ill end up convinced im dead already.

Im sick to death of fatigue. Its ruining my wonderful feelings of serenity.

Ah well.

i wonder what is psychogenic & what is physiological? Not sure it can all be separated.

After the first major breakdown/psychosis i've experienced a lot of aches & pains, especially in my chest. Around 6-8 years ago i tried to get to the bottom of it all with the GP surgery i was with - they concluded it was all psychosomatic. i looked a lot into the subject of psychosomatic illness, it's a complex area. Still get all the aches, pains & weird sensations - i don't moan about it or generally discuss it any more with anyone.

i was listening to a perspective on emotional health last night - that our natural state is growth & love - fear can arise - we can cover fear with sadness if the fear isn't dealt with - then cover the sadness with anger if the sadness isn't dealt with, & if we cover anger we put ourselves into a depressed state - The way of healing with it all is to experience fully & work through all the underlying & covered emotions. i think people ideally need support to do that, especially with more intractable mental illness. Mania may be an expression of repressed emotion as well?

i think that anything that deviates from the ideals of non stressed & emotionally healthy/present, well fed & rested - is going to cause problems somewhere along the line.

The increased '20 year' mortality rate in schizophrenia i think is part to do with the levels of fear & stress involved.

Lack of proper restful/deep sleep i think is physiologically/psychologically damaging.

i went part lucid/part psychotic around the age of 16 - have been part lucid ever since - My dream World is astounding - often wake up exhausted.

Pounding heart yet serene state of mind. It could as you say be a number of factors.

I know what you mean about lucidity and epic dreaming.

Also agree that fear is the big problem with the condition. So much stress it really taxes the heart.

Im not sure about repressed feelings. The more ive opened up the more manic ive become.

There arent often simple causes and effects. I remain openminded as much as possible.

i've had some very severe anxiety/fear states over the past year - Difficult to exactly identify what it's about or where it comes from?

i don't have the answers - beyond my own hodge podged bio/psycho/social/spiritual view - who knows? Maybe it is a brain condition/physiological?

We don't know the aetiology of these conditions, just a load of different theories from a load of different perspectives.

Lack of sleep will not damage the heart.

Anxiety will kill sleep and cause chest pain and severe fatigue, though. Anxiety doesn't necessarily include worrying/feeling mentally anxious. I didn't when I had severe anxiety. I just had the physical symptoms.

Decking bob shocker is obviously figurative
You can't deck an avatar

Am I right that there are now two generations for whom the internet is a constant?

I lay my head to rest

There is a disjunct between my waking self and my trying to sleep self

It brings on physical heart pain

Are you really saying im alone with that?

I think its the drug

Jesus these drugs

They are all so mind bending

Physical bending

Instead of worrying

I go for a walk

These are good times for night walks

Full moon cycle and all that :)

This might be a stupid suggestion.
Could it be heartburn/reflux? If its worse when you lay down?
When I get it the pain is bad across upper chest, into my left shoulder sometimes. A dull pressure pain.

No. I definitely think its withdrawal. You can see my chest pounding. I could run one of those bingo ball machines of of it. Im Popping to doctor about it. Maybe get something to calm it down.

Thanks for trying :)

Acid reflux sounds grisly.

It's my own folly. Self medicating. Playing the armchair psychiatrist and paying for my hypocrisy. But Im nearly clear of it all now. Lesson learned. Ive run the gamut of medications and was unable to achieve a healthy balance on them. So I've had to learn other ways of dealing with things. Last year was the breakthrough year. Im ready now to return to work. Unexpectedly I had a mystical experience in December and that's brought about a tremendous inner calm and really ramped up my self awareness and ability to harness my energies. I never thought it would happen in my life. I dont think many do. I feel im in a kind of deepened communion with god. It's difficult maybe impossible to explain. But fear Isn't the problem it once was.
