Hi, i'm 20 years old guy. From young years i have Pure-OCD, now ifight with HOCD/POCD. I have groinal response and weird warm feel in my chest when i see man, and if i only hears about child. Yesterday i was seen on P*****B a film. The girl on film was 19 years old but she has a young face. When i see this miniature i was strong erection and excitement( don't fell like normal but ot was in groin) but my mind was clear and i was panic and i was afraid. the second time it did not happen again. ( I have been abusing pornography for many years, and now i do not feel so clearly anymore excite). Can OCD do that? I cant life like that anymmore. Sorry or my english. Please, say anything:cry:

A lot of people with OCD have terrible paranoia that they are pedophiles - even murderers - but somehow they don't know it. People with OCD will often become convinced that they have hit an animal or even a pedestrian with their car but somehow didn't know it. They'll drive around the block for hours looking for the injured party but of course there is none.

My obsession with women was basically always beyond my control from the time it started at 13 until about 6 months ago.

Pornographers are always looking for a market advantage, so they promote models who appeal to one fixation or another. In this era, young-looking models are very popular so that has probably influenced your taste in pornography. Also, your guilt and paranoia is PART of your OCD.

What you'll find is that if your OCD is increasing your obsession will "branch out" to all sorts of things. Did you grow up somewhere where homosexuality is a taboo? Of course with OCD the thing that frightens or horrifies you will be the thing you can't stop thinking about.

The paranoia that you might somehow be a pedophile is terrifying. Just remember two things:

1) The fact that you're so concerned that you reached out about this one a public forum makes it pretty unlikely that you're actually a pedophile.

2) It sounds like you have enough sense to reach out to a therapist first if you actually have any urges to act out in this way.

Speaking of therapy, I would get some right away. The doubt about yourself is going to be absolute torture until you get some perspective on your illness. The people whose OCD paranoia makes them believe they might have hit someone with their car will live for YEARS unable to lose the belief that they really did.

Actually, come to think of it, even before I had my diagnosis, higher doses of SSRI really relieved the obsessions about sex and women. I would also recommend starting that right away.

Don't torture yourself. Just get treated.

My family is very homophobic. I myself was a victim of violence at school and just as a psychologist would go, the family would consider me a madman. I sit on the floor all day long away from people and play games. I am a typical loser and I do not think that a psychologist will change anything.

Dude. that's just classic OCD, from the sound of it. Drug therapy will make you feel SO much better! You'll quickly discover that you have no desire to "lose".
