If you are doing the right things, working on your recovery making progress. You should be feeling happier as a result.

But perhaps you are not, perhaps you are still anxious and sad.

This is the issue of being stuck in your old mind set.

Remind yourself of your progress and achievements. Remind yourself that you are stable now. Perhaps you are more wealthy.

Work on progressing to the next level in your life. Let go of the old emotions. It is your time.

thanks Burt

im a digger ... I need to know what is behind things
I dont think many people are

for instance I just found out
that my brother had witness something significant in childhood
that nobody else knows about
I spent 4 days raging and feeling ill over it
contacted some specialist services about it

and now I'm starting to feel some joy
the sense of reality deepens
im closer to the truth !

soon I will find out something else and have to work through it

thats how my recovery works

How about if its more physical-based issues, do you think a change of mindset can help with that?

Because i'm having doubts at the moment, feel like my body & brain are badly damaged right now.

The pain only gets worse... well I guess recovery isnt possible for some of us

Good advice Burt,

It's very important to recognise any progress in recovery to reflect on how far you have came. No matter how small or insignificant it may seem.
