Hello, I'm interested to know how everyone manages their work life. Do you suggest full time or part-time? Are there any jobs you have found cause it to become worse or have helped?
I'm struggling with my job at the moment, I've recently returned after 5 weeks off sick and I'm wondering whether it was the right decision to return.

part time is best, it does depend on your bosses though, if you get someone nasty as a boss then it will not help you

I can barely manage one 12 hour shift. It nearly kills me. But I get through it.

The most chill job (and boring at the same time) was as a watchman (idk how is it called in eng).
I had a post near the gateway to car salon. I had to sit there 11h and every 3h take a walk over property and check if everything is fine. It was taking about 30 min and in the post I could watch netflix or sit on my phone and noone cared.
The money was little and it was boring as hell but you don't have any responsibility. I could choose 2 different systems. 24h shift and then 2 days off or 11h and 1 day off.

I have worked alot of different jobs, retail, call centres, taxi service, cleaning etc.I have found the most important thing is the people you work with. If you find a job where you feel comfortable and have good colleagues it makes it so much more manageable. Also I can't do night shifts as lack of sleep triggers me and I work part-time 🙂 xx

Yeah! Lack of sleep trigger me too. That and my monthly cycle. Hormone imbalance causes havoc. Ive had numerous jobs. I always move on as I think the people I work with hate me. I am agency now. I go to different places so I dont get to know people to much. I have a habit of over sharing my life and I have no reference for boundaries. Everyone is my friend and if not your my enemy. Its a horrible way to live and its killing me.

Yes it is tough when you feel like no one likes you. I thought I would never be able to hold down a job long term but 10 months now and going strong. I am proud because it has taken alot to get to a place where I want to be in work and after 3 or 4 different places in the last 2 years I am comfortable finally. Xx

PT to begin, if possible. Build mastery slowly.

I also gave up a long commute. Two past therapists felt this was important and I’ve followed the advice.
