Hi all
I'm new in this forum
I have suffered anxiety /depression /OCD almost as long as I can remember .My doctor is useless how would I know if I was bipolar or not ?
Just lately I'm experiencing feelings that I have never felt before .
I hate myself ...I think everyone is talking about me I have cut my self off from famiy /friends as I feel they are criticising me I am angry all the time and could literally smash things to pieces.I have taken Prozac ,Citalopram and now on Mirtazapine I feel like my head is going to explode I cry for nothing I hate every thing and every one I am just a fat ugly horrible person

Hi there and welcome. Have you seen a psychiatrist yet because that’s the best way to get a formal diagnosis. It can sometimes take months before they will formally diagnose you and even then they may change their minds as to the diagnosis. I’ve had several changes of opinion.
I can only suggest that you ask your doctor for a referral

hi welcome to the forum. This is a good place to vent and write out your feelings. People are non-judgemental. I sure hope you get to feeling better.

I know how you are feeling been there and it is not a nice place. Does your Dr. think you have BPD? Are you on medications? Like Daffy said get a referral and hopefully a therapist to talk things out it is never as bad as we think it is Our minds are powerful and can make us believe all kinds of things that are not healthy or mentally stable. Hang in there lots of hugs

From what I know prozac and mirtazapine are powerful antidepresant. If you had bipolar you will go manic because of them.

After my first assessment I was seen by my psychiatrist who suspected I had bipolar, which clearly I did have. She put me on venlafaxine saying that she will see me in one week when my anxiety hypomania will or may get worse which they did and then started on mood stabilisers
