You don't like the dsm years ago i became not schitzoprenic courtesy of the dsm3 would you rather the ICD

Think i prefered the shrink with his dsm to my last one with her icd

Of course prefer is a funny word, you can find you like a shrink, and that shrink can be worse than the one you hate

Seriously the anti-psychiatry hysteria on this forum is amazing. Now psychiatry is some well oiled machine in cohorts with the government and big pharma and is an agent of social control....give me a break!.
Psychiatry can very rationally be considered to be primarily a politically motived social control. I suppose that the OP is saying that the trend of - "having serious concerns about the kinds of bias and harm that pervade the enterprise of psychiatric diagnosis. We encourage people to utilize the resources provided here to speak out against politically motivated diagnostic categories that systematically disempower individuals, families, and communities." - Is really about the genuine & therapeutic assistance with the best approaches of helping people in emotional & mental confusion & distress - & nothing to do with politics, money, power & control?

I suppose that the psychiatric system is totally unbiased; & is totally focused primarily on the genuine healing & best therapeutic approaches, help & support for such people?????????? & is nothing to do with stamping labels on people & drugging them up for life!?

when I was young I was naughty. If I got caught a slapped thigh was my medication. I learnt not to get caught. But I also learnt boundaries and concequences. Not sure drugs can teach that. They'll prob have Nike brand marks to make kids want them more.
