I am SO confused with what I am reading online. I wonder if anyone here knows any better. I am married and I get ESA support group (joint claim obviously). As far as I was aware my husband isn't allowed to work more than 24 hours a week and even if he works he can only earn £20 a week. I just used the benefits calculator tried it out with my husband working full time in a minimum wage job. This is what it said:

Based on your partner being employed for 36 hours per week at salary of £280.00 (weekly)

Your partner could be £126.88 per week better off in work under the current benefits system.

So what is the truth?
