OK, @Zoe1, if you have the insight to get yourself admitted if you think you really need it then that's OK, I do the same. I'd miss you if you ended up in hospital though, I think your a vibrant member of the community here, honey. .
May I ask why you call what you hear "spam"? I'm in the US and to me spam is things like junk mail I receive in my email. Or someone who joins the forum trying to promote some kind of product. I've never heard of hearing people talk being called spam before so I'm just curious.
And speaking of hearing people talk, it sounds like you're hearing people's conversations and think they are directed at you and why it's just such random stuff.
It can really mess your head up doing that. When I was a teenager I was at an amusement park and someone yelled "fat ass". Even though I was skinny at the time I believed it was directed at me and took it personally. Guess who ended up developing anorexia?
well ive been a bit creative with the word spam !
it just has a similar feel to me
people talking in a trashy way, just advertising something
they are not interested in you personally
something like that
yes it could be really random stuff
and an alternative to extra meds
might be to go to the hearing voices group where I lived
only funny thing is , I was turned down for it some years back
because I said I just hear things in my head !
I might ask again about it
I think I'm feeling a bit isolated
having had half term away from my art class
and yes you can think completely illogical things are about you
like the word fat, yes I can imagine how that might go
