I often used to talk to my voices or laugh outloud. I did this just to hear myself think. Now and again I find myself doing it but I remember that they don't need as much attention anymore. Theyre more silent now. Never blacked out from my voices or had any type of self-harm ideations but I do understand that impulsive thinking comes with voices.

Yes I used to talk out loud until my mum said it creeped her out one year so I made my self more aware and stopped doing it. It would seem that when I respond to my voices alot of the time iam blacking out so I don't recall shouting or whatever I'm doing until someone has told me x

That's not good. Have to tried deep breathing, or laughing exercises.... I do this often. I tend to remember bits of these episodes. Not the whole episode itself. I use this to calm me down. Sorta like sneezing.

I'm getting back into deep breathing but am struggling at the moment with it as I'm having some problems concentrating. I also think some form of exercise might be good for the nerves but I haven't found a favourite yet

I don't quite understand your thread title. Are you being diagnosed with BPD?

Are you being re-diagnosed or keeping your old diagnosis with BPD added on?

It's hard getting diagnosed, but it's worth it.
