Hi Everyone,

For several previous years, I had played Badminton on a regular basis, and then again going back a good few recent years and loved the sport.

I am making prelimary enquries, in terms of playing Badminton on a regualr basis, and competively as well, if at all, much down the line, I have explained to the organisation that runs the club of badminton, I am not a complete novice, and would like to take up the sport of badminton again. I'll note how the response might be in a day or two.

I have always been active in the sport, even way before I became mentally not well.

I believe that they hold regular club nights, and have matches fixtures in competition mode with other teams, once if I am accepted into badminton, I'll learn much more, in time.

I shall be aware, I'll need to regularly train in fitness along side of badminton, in my regular field of fitness training being aeroibcs, well low impact, and now zumba gold.

I used to enjoy badminton. Got to say I just see your posts and smile...thanks for that, you always seem so positive and even when you're having difficulties you seem able to express that simply.

HI all,

I have heard from the organisation I contacted, regarding Badminton. Unfortunately, they hold the sessions, on a day and time of evening of that very day, of the week, which is just impossible for me to attend.

I'lll research other avenues, now.

Hi all,

I had completely forgotten about a leisure and sports centre a very well known one, up in Town, in the West End area, so I am making prelimary enquries with them, regarding Badminton, allowing for a week, I'll note what they say when they get back to me. If it sounds, promising, I'll then ask about days and times, and rates of membership. I know that they do offer a free day pass.

Hi Unique,

Unfortunately, my idea for the sports and leisure complex up in Town - West End, isn't working, they have courts for hire, with fees applicable according to my email, no actual clubs of Badminton as such. I shall keep researching. Not just yet, though, I have my volunteering admin and planning duties to adhere to.

Best Wishes,

Nat.

Hi all,

I have been recommended by my day centre offices, communications co-ordinator, that there's a fitness discussion group, to take place on the 5th of May, (ouch, I won't wish to be reminded laughing, in terms of the voting to be done, for the mayoral elections) and they are looking for ideas, for fitness, so I put forth my ideas, on email to the other co-ordinator of fitness, suggesting Badminton. In the near of future, I'll monitor what happens on that front. They used to play Badminton back in 2000 onwards, and I am looking to pick up the sport again.

HI all,

I shall be attending my local religious sector day centre branch on Thursday, under the direction of our newly employed fitness-co-ordinator, and I am going to monitor to see for mysefl, whether i can gain any interest in Badminton , there, eventually. They could hold, there in the centre, they do have a very very huge room area, I feel, for that kind of activity. Or alternatively, in the future, to suggest, if they could hire courts, in a local gym, somewhere.

Anway, I'll monitor and see what happens within the hour, on Thursday.

I have a quiet week at the moment, notifications wise, for volunteering, should be picking up, tomorrow later on during the day, or Wednesday.

I'm fine, mental health wise, very well indeed.

Natalie.
