Are online tests reliable?

Are online tests ever reliable? I know that you can't diagnose yourself from them, but are they completely wrong?

Are these results strange, or does everyone pretty much get similar results (as in multiple disorders present)

Is it worth going to see someone about it? Or at least talking to my parents?

I went through this with one of my sons not long ago. He came up positive for practically every test he tried! I told him it was nonsense and he just shrugged and said 'yeah, thought so'. :)

If you're concerned for your mental health my advice would be to stop trying to diagnose yourself and talk to your GP. In some circumstances the tests can be useful as a guide but I think sometimes we can start applying symptoms to ourselves, that we probably wouldn't have even thought of before.

If you find it easier, talk to your parents first.

I hope this helps a little. Take care.
