I have "friend" that I've known since grade school who is going through a really hard time. I use the term, friend, very loosely. We actually didn't even like each other back then, but we've all grown up and are connected on Facebook. As an adult I've learned that her mom was an addict and she basically spend her childhood trying to take care of her. Now she's had a messy divorce and is losing custody of her kids. Daily she is posting that she is suffering. I'm very worried about her. This is a woman who I haven't seen in years and years. We are not close at all. Nevertheless, I don't want to see anything bad happen. I'm afraid she will hurt herself. What can I do? What can someone do for a person who is practically a stranger?
