I found that it went away after a few weeks. I had to start exercising regularly and then it passed by itself. On bad days the fogginess is worse, but it's a rare thing.

Thanks maybe I'll start working out again. I've had a lack of motivation like no other.

Risperidone made me manic. Couldn't sleep for days. I was only on it because I asked my doctor for the pills to test tolerability to paliperidone palmitate prior to beginning injections. Which didn't work at all for my symptoms.

I'm on risperidone. I gained 21 lbs in weight in 6 months and it leaves me feeling terribly groggy. The worse side effect is the lack of motivation and apathy the drug produces.

I run in the mornings now before work, it really helps and I've lost 10.5 of the 21 lbs I gained. My dose is being reduced to 1mg next week with a view to coming off completely by October.

Im on riperidone. I'm not sure if everyone does this but I take mine at night so the side effects don't bother me the next day.

I take mine at night too, but I'm still groggy the following morning.

I'm glad you're not bothered by any side effects.
