It's okay @bpd2020 . I hope you are doing well lately.
I'm alright, it's just the sudden dips that I still find hard to manage sometimes.
I had a decent session with my counsellor yesterday, quite positive for a change. The previous week had been okay with regards to coping mentally.
However, this evening, my mood has started to deteriorate again, I'm mildy dissociating and I can't always pull myself out of it. I'm not even sure what the trigger is half the time. It's disappointing when you feel like you have it under control... but it creeps up on you and makes you realise, that you don't.

You can't have it under control all the time though, how much of yourself is putting pressure on yourself to immediately recover. Instead take a comparative approach. How bad and how strong were your symptoms back when you were really ill? Could you grade your anxiety/dissociation on a scale of one to ten back then? And what is it now? Take the overall approach, not the nitpicking one.
If overall things are moving in the right direction, that's the important thing.
People with MH issues beat themselves up on average 50 times more than those without. (Okay, I made that statistic up, but you get the picture)

Vegay, you have lost your dog recently. Maybe you are grieving. With BPD there are dips and sometimes it can be difficult to find the trigger.

That's true, I am still devastated. I guess you're right, there are many ups and downs.
