Hey guys,

I assume that you would want to travel around and see places, go for walks etc, as part of your recovery, so do any of you have a freedom pass? I have one, its one of the best things I have ever received.

I was not eligible - but yeah I can imagine - what a great thing to have. I have a half-price bus pass and that is good too.

I have a bus pass, which gives me free travel on buses, and on local trains.

It does help me get out and about, and it helps me with anxiety too. It's years since I had to pay the driver on a bus, but I used to get very flustered and was all fingers and thumbs, trying to pick up change from the cab, dropping money etc, and feeling really embarrassed and self-conscious. For a long time, I avoided using buses due this, and other reasons :)
