I go to bed around 6pm every night and sleep until 4 am. I do not stay in bed during the day unless I am having a hard time, Sleeping is a comfort to to me. Calms my nerves and makes me feel okay. I have four dogs that sleep with me during the early mornings and I just love it. They are so warm and they snore and make me feel relaxed.

I am wishing yoi the best life can give Hugs Jules

I stay in bed most of the day. I hate that awful feeling when I wake up at 4am, it's cold, it's dark and your alone again in a crumbling old house. I always wonder how I'm going to manage another day.

When I have no purpose and my other half wasn't helping the situation I would get up and as soon as he left the house back to bed I would go.
Even days where I had work I would be in bed til the last moment I needed to leave the house.
That's even on afternoon shift where I started at 2.45

The nightmare of depression,
Just staring out the window, watching the trees bend in the wind, remembering when times were good,
Longing to return to those days

I feel this so hard. I do a lot of staring out the window. There is a building with big window glasses where a startup has setup in front of my flat, I can see the people working there from my balcony. Yesterday I was watching over mindlessly and seeing those people work, laugh, going out for lunch,it occured to me right now my life is passing me by while I'm watching it pass. I'm just a spectator right now.

Its a terrible feeling, yes I watch people, they are busy going about there lives, chatting and laughing,
Perhaps they feel empty and lost inside, who knows,
But we sit and watch them all the same,

Im sorry you feel this way too,
At least we have the forum to help and support us,

I love my bed. It's the place where time speeds up and makes the days go by faster. That's what its come down to for me, wishing the days away.
If it wasnt for the kids and animals i dont think I'd get out of bed. as soon as they're all sorted I'm back in it, sleeping to escape my mind. Which even has ways of getting to me through nightmares etc.

I watch people too and wonder how on earth they function with what seems like such ease.
