I must just hit a certain phase in mood or something where I will get an idea and then my mind is off...

It is currently on a swivel rocking chair. In my head it will be a great addition to my bedroom. I'm trying to fight the thought at the minute because realistically I do lack the space. I would have to remove the wardrobe etc. And it will likely be a waste of money. Thankfully I didnt see one I liked before realising this as I'd of probably impulsively bought one.

It's just made me think of many other times these phases have hit me. Lots of things I have I can look back at thinking "what were you thinking?"

I've started painting in the past and stopped before the job has finished because the mood has passed and I no longer have the energy to complete it, or the motivation since the view of the idea I had has now gone out of my head.

I think I could accomplish a lot if I stayed in that mindset, but it is very fleeting and that really sucks.

I do this all the time, I bough a load of aftermarket stuff for a motorbike I was going to buy but then never did. If I'm board I constantly look on Ebay for things to buy when I dont need them.

I end up buying absolute rubbish off ebay during those times. I went through an obsession with wanting to collect really old stuff. I've got Egyptian beads, rosary beads and rings that had been found by those metal detectors. I try and avoid ebay at all costs nowadays.
Strangely, it's a website I do not trust when I'm in a good mindset.

I get all crazy ideas to make money, and buy stuff on eBay. By the time it arrives from China I've forgot what the idea was. I bought 50 power supplies for rokus with an Australian plug, was going to import and resell rokus. Only ever sold 10. Made a crazy air tank contraption to clean my computer, total overkill. Think it's a sign I'm unwell when I have too many ideas.

One of my crazy times was when I decided to retile the kitchen . I was in Homebase at 8am with £200 worth of blue glass tiles in my trolley.. ten years later they are still in the shed. I only used two boxes then realised I couldn’t do tiling.

Yes Eddie I'd say it's a sign of me being unwell too when I start having these ideas.
These jobs all seem very easy to do at the time, dont they. I feel like i can do whatever my mind latches on to.
It's a shame about those tiles though daffy, but I've definitely been there.

It's three in the morning here and I'm wide awake making video titles for my cooking videos. I really wish I wasn't. Going to take some serquat hopefully it settles me down. I like the wired feeling but usually means I start spending money, so I better watch myself.

Distraction sometimes helps me. I hope the meds help and you can get some rest.

I always put my great ideas up on my blog
because I usually cant use them at the moment
but I might need in future to prove that they are mine

That is actually a great idea! Thanks for that Zoe, I will try that as a form of distraction for when I need it.

One idea i had years ago was learning to play the guitar despite the fact i have never been able to play any musical instrument - trust me when i say i cannot even play the recorder, i was the kid at school who was barely trusted to play the triangle - i rest my case!)

The guitar has been sat in the spare bedroom for about 5 years now gathering dust and it isnt even tuned cause i cant tune it i cannot tell one note from another :panic:

I wouldn't have a clue either haha. It's hard work the guitar.
Do you never get tempted to give it another try?
